Intelligence agents in Norway said their country is “likely” to be attacked by terrorists — or at least, field a threat of attack from terrorists — in the next year.
The Joint Counter Terror Center said the Islamic State, as well as other terrorist groups, has called for acts of aggression against those nations that have joined with the United States to launch airstrikes over Syria and Iraq, The Associated Press reported.
Norway officials said they’re going to send about 120 fighters to join the international campaign, AP said.
That means military officials, police and political leaders could be “exposed” to the Islamic State’s anger, the Joint Counter Terror Center said, AP reported.
