NBC is reportedly in talks with Pippa Middleton for a correspondent gig on the “Today” show.

Sources told the New York Post on Tuesday that the network has been in serious talks with Duchess Catherine’s 31-year-old sister for months after she nailed her appearance with Matt Lauer in June. NBC reportedly sent Pippa on a test shoot in Utah after she was spotted meeting with network executives in New York.

” ’Today’ has been doing a test piece with Pippa in Utah, and if it works out well — and it looks like it will — they will hire her as a correspondent,” a source told the New York Post.

“The deal with NBC isn’t done yet, but everybody is hopeful it will be done very soon,” another source said. “They want to make sure Pippa is comfortable in this role. The ratings for Pippa’s interview with Matt Lauer showed she is very popular with ’Today’ viewers, and she really impressed everyone at NBC.”

The move comes after Pippa debuted her monthly column for Britain’s Weekend Waitrose magazine, focusing on health and fitness, the New York Post reported.
