Iconic rocker-turned-conservative pundit Ted Nugent took to Facebook to share his version of a perfect Thanksgiving: a photo of a massive buck he brought down with a bow and arrow.

His accompanying text, next to the photo of the multi-point antler kill: “OH LORDY LORDY GLORY GLORY HALLELUJAH! Happy ThanXgiving every damn day in the mystical deer grounds of America ya all! The beast is dead long live the mighty beast!”

Mr. Nugent went on, in more lyrical fashion: “After @50 hours of skunk hell, HE showed up from the tangle down below & my mystical flight of the arrow disconnected his pump station forevermore! Miraculously all on SpiritWild DAYLIGHT vid! Say YOWZA!!”

Mr. Nugent has been a hot topic on Facebook this week, with the deer posting coming days after he weighed in on the Ferguson issue:

“Here’s the lessons from Ferguson America. Don’t let your kids group to be thugs who think they can steal, assault & attack cops as a way of life & badge of black (dis)honor. Don’t preach your racist [expletive] ’no justice no peace’ as blabbered by Obama’s racist Czar Al Not So Sharpton & their black klansmen.”
