ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Despite a snowstorm that hit on one of the busiest travel days of the year, highways and airports across New York have seen few big problems.

Airports in Buffalo, Rochester, Albany and New York City reported few delays Thursday, a day after a storm brought several inches or more of snow to many parts of the state.

Police reported some vehicle accidents but few significant delays on highways. Restrictions on some trucks using the Thruway that were put in place before the storm were lifted Thursday morning.

All maintenance and construction projects on the New York State Thruway were suspended for the holiday, allowing motorists to use all lanes of the highway through Sunday.
