Two FBI agents were shot at a barricaded home early Wednesday morning, while serving a search warrant at a spot nearby the Ferguson-area protests.

The suspect is still barricaded in the home, Fox News reported.

A St. Louis County police spokesman said the two agents sustained non-life threatening injuries, The Associated Press reported.

Officer Shawn McGuire said the shooting occurred around 3:15 a.m. local time in north St. Louis County, just a few miles from Ferguson. He specified the agents were shot while responding to a person barricaded in a home, AP said.

It’s not clear if the shootings are related to the Ferguson protests over the grand jury ruling that released officer Darren Wilson from any indictment. The FBI hasn’t released any more information.
