Former Russia spy Anna Chapman is making news again with a propaganda video for President Vladimir Putin’s armed forces.

“It’s almost 6 a.m. and 3,000 handsome men are still sleeping. I am very lucky to be at the heart of my motherland’s army. It’s a very special day for me,” said Ms. Chapman in a 40-minute video for Russian television, the Daily News reported Monday.

Ms. Chapman and nine other Russians were deported from the U.S. in 2010 and identified as sleeper agents. She is now helping Mr. Putin rally public support in the wake of Russia’s annexation of Crimea and ongoing military operations along Ukraine’s eastern border.

Along with her attendance at Russian tank maneuvers and close-quarters combat training with a knife, Ms. Chapman took time to make an unsubstantiated critique on the overall fitness of the U.S. Army.

“In the American army they fight obesity,” the ex-spy says in the propaganda video, the Daily News reported. “The Kantemirovskaya division fighters don’t have this problem. Everyone here looks as is they were hand-picked.”
