Ben Carson, the pediatric neurosurgeon turned conservative star, said President Obama is acting less like a duly elected White House executive and more like Russia’s aggressive leader, President Vladimir Putin.
Mr. Carson made his comments during the “Brody File” on The Christian Broadcasting Network.
He also sent a message to the president during the broadcast, Newsmax reported: “You work for the people, they don’t work for you.”
On Mr. Obama’s immigration action, Mr. Carson spoke critically, warning the American people that more was coming.
“This is going to keep going until you stop him,” he told CBN. “Our president is very much like Putin.”
Mr. Putin faced international condemnation for pushing troops onto the Ukraine and forcing the annexation of Crimea, despite the warnings of the West — including the explicit commands from top U.S. officials to stand down.
