The man responsible for opening fire early Thursday at Florida State University — who was then shot and killed by police — has been identified as an alumnus and attorney, a law enforcement agent said.
The shooter sent hundreds of students fleeing. Three suffered gunshot wounds and one is still in critical condition, NBC News reported.
The Associated Press identified him as Myron May and said he used to attend FSU and then went on to Texas Tech University’s law school.
It’s still not clear what May’s motive was for the shooting, AP said.
