WASHINGTON (AP) — Americans hitting the road for Thanksgiving will enjoy the lowest gas prices in years. AAA is about to project how that will affect travel plans for the holiday.
The auto club will release its annual Thanksgiving travel forecast at a news conference Thursday at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. AAA will detail its predictions for travel nationwide as well as in the mid-Atlantic region.
Gas prices are just one factor in the forecast. AAA also considers the state of the economy and prices for hotel rooms, rental cars and airline tickets.
