The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine said Friday that Russian fighter jets and radar stations are being moved near Ukraine’s eastern border.

“[Russian Federation] continue to concentrate army units at the border, with radar stations and MiG-31 fighter jets,” Ukraine said via Twitter on Wednesday.

The combat planes have been deployed to Millerovo airfield, The Aviationist reported Wednesday. The military website said that the move may indicate that Russia plans to control the airspace over Luhansk Oblast.

Ukrainian officials also said that Russian tanks have been seen crossing the border, The Aviationist reported.
