New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is headed to Capitol Hill Monday to address a luncheon for newly-elected House Republicans, according to The Hill.
Mr. Christie, a possible 2016 GOP presidential contender, is coming off a successful election cycle as head of the Republican Governors Association in which GOP candidates managed to win governor’s races in deep-blue states such as Maryland, Massachusetts and Illinois and hold off strong challenges in states such as Wisconsin and Florida.
For their luncheon, incoming House Democrats will get Rep. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland as a speaker, The Hill reported.
