The Brooklyn Bridge, for the third time in four months, has seen a security breach — this time from a French man, 23, who was arrested on charges related to scaling the structure.

Yonathan Souid from Esnandes was taken into custody and is expected to be charged Monday with reckless endangerment and criminal trespassing, the Daily Mail reported.

In August, a Russian tourist was arrested on similar charges — and that was shortly after two German artists scaled the bridge and replaced the U.S. flag with white flags, the traditional symbol of surrender.

Law enforcement agents at the site were widely criticized for the first breach and for the subsequent revelations of security loopholes at the site.

Mr. Souid was reportedly captured when he jumped a fence and climbed up a beam on the bridge, police said, the Daily Mail reported. An officer asked him to climb back down. He obeyed and was immediately taken into custody, the news outlet reported.
