Bill O’Reilly, host of “The O’Reilly Factor” on Fox News, cut to the chase on his recent broadcast about President Obama’s vow to take executive action on immigration, saying the White House executive has pretty much announced an outright war on the GOP.

“President Obama is declaring war on the Republican Party,” he said, about the presidential plan to grant about 5 million illegals amnesty, Mediaite reported.

Mr. O’Reilly also said the planned executive action was “insulting” to the incoming Republican majority on Capitol Hill — and said the GOP will no doubt respond with “consequences” that will “paralyze” the government, the media outlet said.

“All of this is terrible for the country, and Mr. Obama has to know that,” Mr. O’Reilly said during his talking points commentary segment. “But he doesn’t seem to care.”

So why is Mr. Obama doing it?

He must be “seething” over his party’s Election Day disaster, Mr. O’Reilly said.

“If the new Congress didn’t come up with a workable immigration plan, then the president could justify his executive order, at least as a last resort,” Mr. O’Reilly said, Mediaite reported. “It’s impossible to justify it now.”

But executive action on immigration “mocks the Founding Fathers and the Republican Party,” Mr. O’Reilly said.
