Eminem — a rap artist not exactly known for his family-friendly content — nonetheless shocked viewers of HBO’s live Veterans’ Day concert in D.C. with his profanity-peppered performance.

His opening salvo at the Concert for Valor: “Happy mother[expletive] Veterans Day,” the New York Daily News reported. From there, it was more of the same.

The Twitter world was quick to comment.

“If there rally a need for #Eminem to be swearing like an idiot at the #ConcertForValor?” one wrote.

And another: “Turning off HBO after all the swearing coming out of EMINEM..they [could] have put him on later..after kids like myself have gone to sleep.”
