OPINION:
My fellow Americans, prepare for two long years before we can expect any real change from our government. Over the past six years, we’ve watched the promises of hope from then-candidate Barack Obama turn into the overwhelming failures of President Obama. Now, after voters sent a very clear message that we are unhappy with the president’s broken promises and faulty agenda, it appears that message has fallen on deaf ears.
Rather than agreeing to work with all the new congressmen and senators, the president is acting like a petulant child and refusing to budge one bit on his failed policies. Because of this, we see the approach of an almost-inevitable war on multiple fronts, a greater threat of terrorism at home than ever before and an influx of illegal aliens coming to take American jobs at an alarming rate. It surely is a dramatic change from the America we once knew, so I guess the president did come through on one promise.
