FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - A truck driver from Ohio has pleaded guilty to reckless homicide and other charges from a northeastern Indiana crash that killed a 4-year-old girl.

Fifty-seven-year-old Gary Golay of West Mansfield, Ohio, cried as he entered the guilty pleas Thursday during an Allen County court hearing.

Authorities say Golay was driving a semitrailer about 60 mph when it plowed into cars stopped at a red light on U.S. 30 just west of Fort Wayne. That crash killed 4-year-old Abigail Little and injured five others.

The Journal Gazette and WANE-TV report Golay skipped required rest times for truckers before the crash.

A plea agreement calls for Golay to serve two years of home detention and not drive any type of vehicle during five years on probation.
