SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Trader Joe’s plans to open its first store in Vermont next week.
Company officials tell the Burlington Free Press (https://bfpne.ws/1mHrcNQ ) that a grand opening is planned at the South Burlington store next Friday, May 16.
Trader Joe’s is a grocery chain that prides itself on private label items that officials say don’t include genetically modified ingredients or artificial flavors and preservatives.
South Burlington approved plans for the store in July 2013.
