ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - The Washington Redskins have selected tackle Morgan Moses of Virginia in the third round of the NFL draft.

Moses was chosen Friday at No. 66 overall.

Moses addresses one of the Redskins’ most pressing offseason goals - improving the offensive line. He could compete with Tyler Polumbus for the starting right tackle job.

The 6-foot-6, 314-pound Moses played right tackle for two years for the Cavaliers before moving to left tackle in 2012 and 2013. He didn’t lift weights at the NFL Combine because of a left shoulder injury.

Earlier Friday, the Redskins picked linebacker Trent Murphy of Stanford in the second round. They also traded down to acquire another third-round pick.
