OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Up to 750 Oklahoma children who were affected by deadly storms in spring 2013 are invited to take part in a camp where they can learn emotional coping and resiliency skills.

The American Red Cross has awarded a grant of $395,000 to fund Camp Noah. The grant will cover the costs of 15 camps in five counties affected by the storms.

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota will operate the camps.

Senior director of Disaster Services Nancy Beers says Camp Noah has been working with disaster-impacted communities since 1997 to help children face their fears.

The Oklahoma camps will take place in El Reno, Moore, Norman, Oklahoma City, Pink, Shawnee and Yukon.
