COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A $2 million bond has been set for an Ohio man charged with murder in the death of his 8-year-old nephew who died days after being shot in the head.

The child, identified as Jamarion Cox, died last month after police say he was struck four days earlier while riding in a vehicle with three adults and a younger boy. Police have not disclosed the circumstances of the shooting.

Police identified the suspect as the boy’s uncle, 23-year-old Robert Broom of Columbus, who was charged with murder on April 16 and arrested Thursday.

WBNS-TV reports (https://bit.ly/RxrzAy ) that a public defender entered a not guilty plea for Broom at a hearing Friday where the $2 million bond was set.
