NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Homicide detectives in New Orleans are investigating the city’s latest shooting death.
The victim was a 32-year-old man. Police say it happened shortly after 4 a.m. Friday.
Witnesses told police a group of people was sitting on a porch of a residence on New Orleans’ North Derbigny Street when a masked gunman ran up and opened fire. The victim was shot multiple times and ran to a nearby alleyway, where he collapsed and died.
No information has been released yet on a suspect or motive.
