SALEM, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Department of Transportation says night work will mean some lane reductions on Interstate 93 near Exit 2 in Salem next week.

Weather permitting, construction will run from about 9 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday. The work will continue at 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Traffic on I-93 will be reduced to one lane.

After Tuesday night’s work, northbound traffic will be shifted toward the median onto the newly paved portion of the road.

The work is part of a $41 million project to rebuild and widen I-93 near Exit 2.
