TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - A historian says plans for a museum to be created in the historic Bryce Hospital are still being developed.
Hospital historian Steve Davis tells the Tuscaloosa News (https://bit.ly/1jofGIi) that the museum planned for the main building could potentially include medical and surgical equipment used at the facility. He said it could also include photographs and furniture from prominent superintendents and other important figures in the hospital’s history.
The hospital was bought by the University of Alabama in 2010.
Davis made the comments during a presentation at the Jemison-Van de Graaff Mansion in Tuscaloosa on Thursday night.
