FALCON, Colo. (AP) - U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan visited Falcon High School on Friday to lead a discussion on military families.

One topic discussed was how to get a quality education when a military family is always on the move to a new city.

Duncan says it isn’t just about making students feel comfortable and welcoming them, it’s about pushing them to do their best academically so they don’t fall behind.

According to KOAA-TV (https://tinyurl.com/ld7zod2 ), Duncan says having school counselors on hand for the emotional needs of students is also critical.
