Dogs that killed toddler did not have rabies

FELTON, Del. (AP) - State health officials say the three dogs that killed a 4-year-old boy in Felton did not have rabies.

The Delaware Division of Public Health said Friday that tests on the euthanized dogs showed they did not have rabies.

Kasii Haith was fatally mauled Wednesday by the dogs at the home of a family friend in Felton. His pregnant mother, 24-year-old Kyeisha Haith of Camden, was bitten several times as she tried to save him.
