ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A house fire has killed two people in the Glenn Highway community of Sutton east of Palmer.

The Anchorage Daily News (https://bit.ly/1jJdevw) reports their identities have not been released.

Alaska State Troopers say a 46-year-old man at around 1 a.m. Friday woke and opened his bedroom door to thick smoke.

He crawled to his front door and called for help from a neighbor’s home.

The state fire marshal is investigating the fire.
