FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - South Bend and Fort Wayne have set record high temperatures.

The National Weather Service says South Bend reached a high of 91 on Thursday afternoon, breaking the previous record high for the date that had stood since 1896.

The weather service says Fort Wayne reached a high of 89, breaking a record set in 1979.
