CORONA, Calif. (AP) - A worker killed in an explosion at a Southern California trucking company has been identified as a 51-year-old Santa Fe Springs man.

The Los Angeles Times reports (https://lat.ms/1uFwwGS ) Samuel Enciso was welding a petroleum tanker trunk Tuesday at National Distribution Services in Corona when the blast occurred.

Another worker, who hasn’t been identified, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The blast blew a hole in the roof of the building but didn’t cause a fire.

No one else was hurt. About six to 10 employees were working on the truck at the time of the explosion.

The incident remains under investigation by state workplace safety officials.
