CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Four Charlotte firefighters were hurt when their ladder truck overturned on a residential street.
Fire Department officials said the wreck happened shortly before 8:30 a.m. Thursday in southern Mecklenburg County near the North Carolina-South Carolina state line.
Charlotte fire Capt. Mark Basnight said four firefighters were taken to Carolinas Medical Center “with minor injuries.”
Basnight said the truck was responding to an emergency call at the time of the crash. No other vehicles were involved.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating the accident.
