NEW ORLEANS (AP) - U.S. Attorney Kenneth Polite in New Orleans has announced charges against three people in connection with a methamphetamine case.

In a Tuesday news release, Polite’s office says 33-year-old Ryan Ernst Nyberg, 42-year-old Christopher Byron Fritchie and 35-year-old Naser Yousef Gheith each was indicted for allegedly conspiring to distribute cocaine.

The news release says Nyberg has been arrested in Germany and will have to be extradited. Fritchie and Gheith are from San Franciso. Fritchie is in custody and Gheith remains at large.

The three were indicted on April 10. The indictment was recently unsealed. The investigation was done by the Drug Enforcement Administration New Orleans office with U.S. DEA officials in Germany and the DEA San Francisco Division Office.
