NYON, Switzerland (AP) - UEFA has chosen Bjorn Kuipers of the Netherlands to referee Real Madrid vs. Atletico Madrid in the Champions League final.

The 41-year-old Kuipers will handle his third major final within a year, after refereeing the Confederations Cup and Europa League title matches last season.

After the match in Lisbon, Portugal, on May 24, Kuipers will travel to Brazil to work at the World Cup.

UEFA says it chose Felix Brych of Germany to referee Benfica vs. Sevilla in the Europa League final in Turin next Wednesday.
