NFL commissioner Roger Goodell’s good intentions no doubt ran awry this week, after he took to Twitter to address serious fan questions via a proffered “#AskCommish” handle — and found that many weren’t quite so somber as he would have liked.

Among the tweeted questions was this one from Desus, Bleacher Report said: “Why do you hate fun? #AskCommish.”

And another, from Steve U: “If you were stranded on a deserted island, with only one book to keep you company, wouldn’t that be better for everyone? #AskCommish.”

And one more, from Chris Kluwe: “#AskCommish If someone got in trouble in Philadelphia, and later moved to live with his aunt and uncle, could he still play in the NFL?”

A couple of tweeters included photos to make their points, including one who posted a picture of Mr. Goodell alongside a penciled round face with a golden shock of hair and the accompanying text: “please explain why the chargers logo looks like your haircut #AskCommish.”

Mr. Goodell did take the time to answer one Twitter poster, who wrote: @RealSlimGrady93: Would you rather fight 1 horse-sized duck OR 100 duck-sided horses? #AskCommish.”

Mr. Goodell’s tweeted reply, Bleacher Report found: “I’m going to have to duck that question.”
