MADISON, Wis. (AP) - The state Department of Natural Resources is looking for landowners willing to host a gun deer hunt for disabled people.

The 2014 disabled hunt is set to run from Oct. 4 through Oct. 12. The deadline for submitting an application to host a hunt is June 1.

Applications are available on the DNR’s website.

More than 260 disabled hunters took part in last year’s hunt across 78,000 acres.
