LOS ANGELES (AP) - Another round of high winds has moved into Southern California, bringing gusts that could top 60 mph in the desert.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 9 p.m. Tuesday for much of the Los Angeles basin and Santa Catalina Island.
In the Antelope Valley, west winds will blow at around 30 mph - with gusts at double that speed.
Drivers are urged to use caution on the 14 Freeway and State Route 138, where blowing sand and dust could impede visibility.
The weather service says drivers could also be impacted on Interstate 10, Interstate 405 and the Pacific Coast Highway.
Forecasters say temperatures will be in the mid-60s into the 70s for much of the region.
