SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - A consultant hired by the Spokane Police Department to improve relations with at-risk youth was involved in a fight Sunday night while having drinks in the lobby of a downtown hotel.

KXLY reports (https://bit.ly/1sfCtIp ) Paul Lewis allegedly called Police Chief Frank Straub for help but that didn’t prevent officers from giving Lewis a citation accusing him of fourth-degree assault. He was evicted from the Davenport Tower.

Lewis works for the Boston-based North American Family Institute and was in Spokane to oversee the police department’s Youth and Police Initiative program.
