“The stimulus will create shovel-ready jobs.” “Unemployment will not exceed 8 percent.” “You can keep your doctor.” “Assad must go.”

When you stop to consider these past presidential statements, I pretty much come to one conclusion.

When President Obama says, “Make no mistake,” there will most likely be a mistake, and when he says, “Let me be clear,” there’s a good chance he won’t be.
