SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Sioux Falls’ public works and parks and recreation departments are holding a community-wide clean-up Saturday of the Big Sioux River greenway.

Volunteers are encouraged to help pick up litter along the bike trail throughout Sioux Falls from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Those interested in participating can show up at several parks along the trail. Locations include Legacy Park, Dunham Park, Falls Park, Spencer Park, Rotary Park, Sertoma Park, Fawick Park and Cherry Rock Park.

Coordinators will be at park shelters to hand out trash bags and provide direction. Volunteers are encouraged to wear gloves and appropriate clothing.
