ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A man suspected of robbing an Albuquerque bank last month has been arrested in Arizona.
The FBI says 47-year-old James Patrick Verdream, of Albuquerque, was taken into custody Monday in the Phoenix area by U.S. Marshals.
He’s expected to be extradited to Albuquerque soon.
Verdream was suspected of robbing the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union in Albuquerque on April 22.
Witnesses say a man walked into the credit union and handed a teller a note demanding money, then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Three days later, a federal warrant was issued for Verdream’s arrest.
FBI officials didn’t say if any of the stolen money has been recovered yet.
