CHICAGO (AP) - It’s almost time for farmers’ markets to open in Chicago.

The city says it plans an official opening at downtown’s Daley Plaza on May 15. Chicago has about two dozen farmers’ markets throughout the city that run until October.

The markets sell fruits, vegetables, plants and flowers. But new this year is the addition of Community Markets. Those markets will include music and local artisans. For the second year in the row there will be three Night Markets.
