LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Famed Wyoming trial lawyer and author Gerry Spence will be among the speakers during University of Wyoming spring commencement ceremonies.

Ceremonies for the individual colleges are scheduled for May 10. College of Law ceremonies will be held May 17, and UW-Casper ceremonies are scheduled for May 15. Additionally, several special ceremonies are scheduled beginning May 2.

Spence will speak at the College of Law ceremony on May 17.

UW is scheduled to accord degrees upon just over 1,600 students, including nearly 1,200 undergraduates, 330 graduate students, about 60 College of Law graduates and around 40 School of Pharmacy graduates.

The largest degree categories are bachelor of arts at 435 degrees, followed by bachelor of science at 394 and master of science at 130.
