CINCINNATI (AP) - California’s Sergio (SER’-jee-oh) Reyes (RAY’-us) has won his third straight Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati.

He crossed the finish line in 2:27:21 for his fourth Cincinnati win overall. Thirty-year-old Donnie Warner of Cincinnati was second to the 32-year-old Palmdale resident with a time of 2:28:39.

Organizers say more than 36,000 people registered for various events over the three days, a record number of participants in the 16th annual event. Organizers said the full marathon drew 4,731 runners. Sunday morning’s race was under clear, sunny skies with temperatures in the 60s.

The women’s marathon was won by Amy Robillard of the Cincinnati suburb of Montgomery. The two-time half-marathon winner, age 34, finished at 2:55:53.
