CINCINNATI (AP) - Cincinnati Reds right fielder Jay Bruce was scratched from their original starting lineup for Sunday’s game against Milwaukee with left knee soreness.
Chris Heisey replaced Bruce in right field and the fourth spot in the batting order.
Bruce is hitting .218 with three home runs and 14 runs batted in while playing in 29 of Cincinnati’s first 30 games this season. He has 499 RBIs and 99 home runs in his career at Great American Ball Park.
