NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a 9-year-old girl has been killed in an auto accident that injured five other people in Brooklyn.

Police say Rebecca Ramnarine, of Queens, was a passenger in sedan that was struck by a Honda minivan at the intersection of Remsen Avenue and Avenue N at about 7 p.m. Sunday. The minivan also struck another vehicle.

Police say the girl was taken to Brookdale Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Two other occupants in the sedan and three occupants in the other vehicle were hospitalized in stable condition.

Police say the driver of the Honda was taken into custody at the scene.
