LAGUNA, N.M. (AP) - New Mexico State Police has recovered multiple vehicles that were reported stolen in and around Albuquerque.

Lt. Emmanuel Gutierrez says a Laguna resident notified a state police officer on patrol Thursday that he found his vehicle, which had been stolen two days earlier, at a nearby residence.

Gutierrez says the resident also saw a pickup truck that fit the description of one stolen in Albuquerque.

Officers investigating the property say they found four vehicles that were confirmed to be stolen. They also saw various car parts including doors, axles and fenders.

Gutierrez says no arrests have been made by State Police are detaining a person of interest.
