ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - The National Weather Service in Aberdeen says some central and eastern areas of the state could see some flooding Saturday.

The NWS has issued a flood warning for Faulk, Edmunds, Hyde and Hand counties. It lasts until 6:00 p.m. Saturday.

A flash flood watch has also been issued for some southeast and east central areas of the state. The NWS says they are expecting more rain in the same areas Saturday afternoon and possibly into the evening.

Kingsbury, Miner and Sanborn counties are the east central cities included in the watch. Davison, Hanson and Hutchinson are the southeast cities. The flash flood watch lasts until 1 a.m. Sunday.

The areas most prone to flash flooding are flat and low lying locations. Areas with poor drainage are also at risk.
