POTTSTOWN, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a man tried to rob a bank in Pennsylvania and fired shots at the tellers before fleeing empty-handed.

The FBI says the man tried to rob a Wells Fargo branch Saturday morning in Pottstown, about 30 miles northwest of Philadelphia. The agency and police say he showed tellers a handgun and demanded money. They say he fired into the ceiling and at the bulletproof divider in front of the tellers. No one was hurt.

Authorities are seeking the man. They describe him as about 6 feet, 200 pounds, black and 20 to 30 years old. He was wearing a dark ball cap with the letter P on it, dark clothes and gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (215) 641-8910 or Pottstown police at (610) 970-6570.
