LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - State officials have lifted some fishing limits on a Lincoln-area lake as crews prepare to drain it for a renovation project.

All length limits at Conestoga Reservoir in Lancaster County have been rescinded through the end of the year in preparation of the lake renovations.

Daily bag limits, however, are being maintained throughout the fish salvage. Also, harvested fish may not be sold and cannot be used for stocking public or private waters.

Legal methods of fishing include snagging, hand fishing, spearing and archery. The use of legal baitfish seines, dip nets and landing nets is allowed.
