OSIJEK, Croatia (AP) - Ivan Perisic scored twice to give Croatia a 2-1 win over Mali in a World Cup warm-up match Saturday.
The Wolfsburg striker netted his first in the 14th minute after a perfect pass by Ivan Rakitic. Perisic added his second in the 64th after Rakitic’s corner.
Khalifa Traore converted one of Mali’s rare chances in the 79th, although he appeared to have scored from close range with his hand.
Croatia attacked for most of the match, which saw both coaches make numerous changes.
Croatia will play host Brazil in the World Cup opener on June 12 in Sao Paolo. Mexico and Cameroon are the other teams in their Group A.
