POLITICAL EXPERIENCE: Political aide to former U.S. Sen. Max Baucus for 12 years. Served as field organizer for Baucus’ 2002 re-election campaign, then as legislative assistant, director of field operations, deputy state director and state director.

FAMILY: Married to Melissa Slagle for 12 years. They have a daughter and a son.
