SURREY, N.D. (AP) - Residents of Surrey are under orders to boil their tap water through the weekend because of a water line break that caused concerns about bacteria entering the water system.

Residents of the northern North Dakota town of about 1,000 people also are being asked to reduce their water usage as water reserves are replenished.

The city expects results early next week from testing of the water to ensure it’s safe.
